Chris received B.A.s from Ft. Hays State University (cum laude) in 1982 and St. Mary of the Plains College (with honors) in 1983. He graduated from Washburn University (with honors) in 1987. He has been with Klenda Austerman LLC since graduation and has served as a Managing Member since 1993.
Although Chris’s practice covered many areas over the years, his dedication and service to the litigation department has remained unchanged. Serving a broad spectrum of clientele, Chris has been praised for his work and management of complex litigation matters, including antitrust class actions, aviation disputes, trade secret and licensing cases, and national bankruptcy litigation. Chris is an accomplished appellate practitioner and also manages Klenda Austerman LLC’s group of younger litigators.
In his time away from the office, Chris is part of Klenda Austerman LLC’s community of marathon and long distance runners. He has been active in coaching competitive youth baseball and the National Baseball Congress. As a father of four, his home life is as fast-paced as his legal career.
